These books aren’t just for parents. They’re for grandparents, aunts and uncles, caregivers, the relative who always wants to bring something more personal instead of another toy. Really, they are for anyone who has a relationship with a child and wants to share something with them.

That’s what these books are built for. Not a lesson, not a curriculum, but a shared experience. Something to sit down with together, or something a child can take down off the shelf by themselves and disappear into whenever they want. That independence of being able to choose a book on my own is a feeling I strongly remember and hope reaches at least one new person.

This wasn’t a planned series. Rather, it started with one story and then kept going — out into the waves, up into the sky, down into the earth. Five books in all, including a workbook where kids write and illustrate their own adventure. The progression wasn’t planned, it just felt right. One story leads to the next the way a good bedtime session does: one more, just one more.

They’ll be on Amazon soon. And if you have a child in your life, whatever your role, I hope you’ll find something here worth sharing.
